Hair Replacement

Hair restoration is the advanced surgical technique which transfers hair from the permanent hair bearing scalp to areas that are bald.

Modern hair restoration techniques transfer thousands of individual follicular units, each containing one to four hairs. This results in a natural looking, permanent solution to hair loss. Micro-hair transplantation does not result in an artificial or “plug” like appearance that the older techniques often created.

Up to 3,500 grafts, over 5,000 hairs can be transplanted per session. Most patients only need one or two sessions, depending on the extent of their hair loss.

The procedure is done under local anesthesia with light sedation. Patients can relax, watch a movie or sleep. There is minimal down-time, and, often no time away from work is required.
