Brachioplasty, also known as an Arm Lift, is a body contouring procedure that is performed to improve the appearance of the upper arms. Many people struggle with the appearance of their upper arms especially as they get older or due to fluctuations in weight. Brachioplasty is performed through an incision that runs along the inside of the upper arm from elbow to armpit. It is important to know that this incision will leave behind a permanent scar that will fade over time but never go away completely. Brachioplasty can create smoother, tighter, more toned looking arms. In some cases the procedure may be performed in combination with other body contouring procedures.
