Most patients only need one or two sessions, depending on the extent of their hair loss. Follicular Unit Extraction is a hair transplant technique in which individual follicular units are extracted from a patient’s bald resistant donor areas. These small hair follicular unit grafts are then transplanted into a patient’s balding areas.

The procedure is done under local anesthesia with light sedation. Patients can relax, watch a movie or sleep. There is minimal down-time, and, often no time away from work is required.
