Founded in 2000, Southeastern Plastic Surgery is renowned as a leader in plastic and reconstructive surgery. They have led the region in research, surgical practice and technical expertise.

The physicians of Southeastern Plastic Surgery opened the SPA so that patients could receive medical-grade services. The SPA offers medically-approved, results oriented skin care treatments in a calming spa atmosphere. The SPA is staffed by highly trained, licensed aestheticians who combine spa luxury with state of the art equipment. Services include laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, photofacials, chemical peels, customized home care programs for all skin types, and relaxing facials. Services are available to both men and women. We recommend visiting one of our aestheticians prior to any surgical procedure. An effective home care routine will reduce recovery time and can enhance results. Skin care consultations are offered for a nominal fee.

The SPA at Southeastern Plastic Surgery works exclusively with skin care lines that are available through physicians only. These systems contain medically prescribed ingredients that work at the cellular level to improve the skin.

Dr. Kirbo is a native of Bainbridge, Georgia, and he is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Kentucky and his plastic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Dr. Kirbo’s interests include facial cosmetic surgery, breast and body

contouring. He has advanced training in addition to surgery after massive weight loss. He also has advanced training in the surgical management of melanoma and other skin cancers.

He and his wife Jennifer have three children, Lillie, Helen and Ben, Jr.

Dr. Rosenberg grew up in Albany, New York. He attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia for both college and medical school, where he earned many awards and distinctions. Dr. Rosenberg completed both general surgery and plastic surgery residency. He trained at the University of Alabama under pioneering plastic surgeon, Dr. Luis Vasconez. He is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Rosenberg has written many publications and articles on topics including facelift, breast reduction, breast reconstruction, abdominoplasty, melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer reconstruction following Mohs procedures. As a result of his training and research, he is an Editorial Board Member of the Annals of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Rosenberg has a variety of interests and areas of specialization within cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. His areas of focus include facelifts, eyelid surgery, breast reconstruction, breast augmentation and reduction, abdominoplasty, hand surgery, laser treatments of skin disorders and body contouring with particular interest in massive weight loss patients. Dr. Rosenberg is the only board certified physician in North Florida and South Georgia to perform a unique hair restoration procedure of surgically transplanting individual hair follicular units.

Dr. Rosenberg lives with his wife Lori, an obstetrician-gynecologist, and their two sons, Efrem and Marshall. During their time away from work, the family enjoys outdoor and charitable activities.

Physician Assistant

Kristen Snyder has been with Southeastern Plastic Surgery since its opening. She completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. and also received her Bachelors in Nursing from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. She is licensed in the State of Florida as a Physician Assistant as well as a Registered Nurse. As a nurse she worked in the operating room at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for four years and became the Neurosurgery Clinical Coordinator. She was the Organ Transplant Coordinator for Tallahassee and also has experience working with Southeast Tissue Alliance and the North Florida Lions Eye Bank.

Kristen’s specialty is facial sculpting, chemical brow lifts, improvement of facial wrinkles, and lip enhancement through the use of Botox and injectable fillers, including Cosmoderm, Cosmoplast, Restylane, Juvéderm, Radiesse, and Sculptra. Kristen was selected to be a certified national trainer for Botox and injectable fillers based on her experience and appropriate use of the products. She has trained dermatologists, nurses and other healthcare providers through these educational interventions. Many of the individuals trained by Kristen are currently injecting in the North Florida and South Georgia region, including Panama City, Destin, Tallahassee, Gainesville, and Moultrie. She was part of the Juvéderm Experience Trial, which involved a group of practitioners with expertise in facial aesthetics, which allowed her to use the product in advance of nationwide product availability. Kristen’s high patient volume has advanced Southeastern Plastic Surgery’s practice to Platinum level in the Botox Cosmetic Network, the only one in the Tallahassee and surrounding area.

Kristen is the Treasurer for the Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants, as well as the Treasurer for the Fellowship of Christian Physician Assistants. She is a current House of Delegates member with the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She was the past Secretary for the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and is also a member of the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants, and the Christian Medical and Dental Society. She is a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee. Kristen is an active alumnae member in her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, as well as the current Finance advisor for the FSU chapter. In addition, she also serves as President of Lakeshore Gardens Homeowners Association and sings in the Lifeteen Band (a contemporary Christian band). She is a member of Empire Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals.

Cosmetic Coordinator

Rebekah joined Southeastern Plastic Surgery in the summer of 2007 with more than 8 years of experience in plastic surgery. From your initial cosmetic or reconstructive consultation appointment until the time of your surgery, Rebekah will be your personal liaison between you, the patient, and your physician. She will be there for you every step of the way answering questions, helping you schedule and finance your surgery and assisting you while you make your important pre-operative decisions.

She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga with a Bachelors Degree in Human Ecology. Rebekah spends her free time with her husband and son.

Annie joined Southeastern Plastic Surgery team in Tallahassee in November 2003. Annie has over 19 years in the field of cosmetology and has advanced training with the OBAGI Skin Care System. In addition, she has specialized training with the Physicians Choice chemical peels. She completed her nursing degree at Lively Technical Center in Tallahassee, FL. in 1992. She previously received a cosmetology degree in 1985. Annie comes to Southeastern Plastic Surgery with more than seven years experience in cosmetic plastic surgery.

She is available for skin care consultations to evaluate and recommend treatment plans to fit the client’s needs as well as provide any needed additional care. Annie attends Better Life Community Church, has two incredible boys and enjoys spending time cooking, fishing and have fun with them.

Licensed Aesthetician

Please welcome Heather Feinberg, our newest licensed aesthetician, who joins our award winning team of skin care specialists. Heather attended the Douglas J. Aveda Institute in East Lansing, Michigan, where she studied and had hands on experience with international trends in the specialized techniques to purify, balance and renew the skin.

She received additional training at the International School of Skin in Atlanta. The esthiology program there specializes in the science of skin care based on European and American traditions, using the latest in technology to thoroughly evaluate the skin and provide advanced training in medical esthetics.

Heather has been a licensed aesthetician for more than 10 years. She will listen to your skin care concerns, thoroughly evaluate your skin and recommend a treatment protocol based on your individual needs.
