Eyelid Lift Tallahassee
The most delicate of our skin is that around our face, particularly around our eyes, and as such it is often the first area of our bodies to begin to show signs of aging. These common signs of aging- heavy, sagging, upper eyelids, excess skin and folds, creases, wrinkles, and bottom eyelids that are sagging or have puffiness, often cause people to look older, more tired or even upset than they actually are. If you are unhappy with the appearance of the skin around your eyes, an Eyelid Lift Surgery, also known as Blepharoplasty, may be the best option for you.
Often combined with other facial rejuvenation procedures such as Dermal Fillers, Brow Lift or even Face Lift surgery, Tallahassee Eyelid Surgery is incredibly successful in creating a younger, more alert appearance in patients. During your consultation Dr. Ben Kirbo and Dr. Laurence Rosenberg will asses your facial rejuvenation options and determine of Eyelid Surgery is the best bet for you.
If you are ready to improve the appearance of the skin around your eyes schedule your confidential consultation today.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Treatment
The painful symptoms of Carpal Tunnel effect many people. There are varying degrees of Carpal Tunnel and various factors that contribute to it. People who drive long distances, do repetitive movements on a daily basis, have certain health conditions and women in their 40′s-60′s are at the highest risk for developing Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome occurs when there is consistent pressure on the median nerve due to a swelling of the nerve or tendons. Many people who suffer from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome experience tingling, pain and even loss of feeling or control of their hands and wrists.
For people with moderate cases of Carpal Tunnel, treatment can be found through either abstaining from the movements for some time or, if that is not possible, using stabilizing braces to keep pressure off of the nerve. In some more severe cases, however, these preventative and stabilizing measures may not be sufficient enough, particularly if there is already nerve damage or if you are unable to work or sleep due to the pain and lack of strength or sensation in your wrists and hands.
There is a surgical treatment for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome that, while not effective for everyone, has a high success rate of 85% of patients who received the treatment reporting a substantial relief of their symptoms. If you are interested in finding out the best treatment option for you, call our Tallahassee plastic surgery office at 850-219-2000 or contact our cosmetic coordinator today for a private consultation with our Tallahassee plastic surgery physicians Dr. Ben Kirbo and Dr. Laurence Rosenberg.

Gynecomastia Treatment – Tallahassee Male Breast Reduction
Overdeveloped breasts in men is more common than you might think. The condition, known as Gynecomastia, most often presents in adolescent men and in many cases is outgrown. However, for the remainder of men, the condition can be permanent, unless they opt for a Male Breast Reduction procedure. Gynecomastia can be devastating for men both young and older, who often feel self-conscious in both social and intimate settings due to embarrassment over their chest.
A male breast reduction surgery removes the fat and glandular tissue and in some cases, excess skin. Male breast reduction surgery is a potentially life changing procedure and many men report a boost in self confidence after their procedure.
If you or your son suffer from gynecomastia, contact our office to learn more about the procedure and schedule your confidential consultation.

Tallahassee Brow Lift
A Brow Lift procedure is one in which the forehead is raised and tightened using a minimally invasive endoscopic technique, which required less recovery time for patients than, say, a full on Face Lift procedure. The Brow Lift, or Forehead Lift, procedure helps to eliminate sagging, heavy, drooping foreheads, brows and helps improves the area around the eyes. This can help greatly reduce the appearance of being tired or even angry which a heavy brow can create.
A Brow Lift procedure may also be done in conjunction with other facial rejuvenation procedures like blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) or a face or neck lift. Dr. Kirbo and Dr. Rosenberg are skilled Tallahassee based plastic surgeons who have helped countless men and women receive smoother, more youthful, natural-looking results through his facial rejuvenation procedures.

Breast Reduction Tallahassee
Much attention and focus is given to women undergoing breast augmentation to increase their bust sizes leaving many to wonder why women would ever consider having a breast reduction. Often people do not realize the burden and stresses having large breasts can place on the neck and back. Large breasts can make it very difficult and uncomfortable to do even some basic exercises. Shopping is often an issue for those with larger breasts, particularly when the rest of their body is disproportionately smaller and any clothes that do fit may cause them to look much heavier than they actually are. In addition, women with larger breasts may deal with emotional issues due to the large breasts. Whatever the case, our plastic surgeons have helped countless women eliminate these physical and emotional strains caused by large breasts through Breast Reduction Surgery.
A Tallahassee Breast Reduction Surgery is a procedure in which excess glandular tissue, fatty tissue and skin is removed. The areola is sometimes also repositioned or altered in shape or size to match the newer, smaller breasts best in order to create the most natural appearance possible. The resulting breasts will be smaller, firmer, and lighter. As in Breast Augmentations what size you want to achieve is a decision that needs to be mutually agreed upon between you and your plastic surgeon who can better advise you as to what is achievable for you.

Tallahassee Breast Lift
Pregnancy, weight loss, nursing, and gravity all take their toll on our breasts, working to pull them downwards and seeming to almost deflate them. Women unhappy with the downward pull their breasts seem to be going in, may opt for a Breast Lift. A Breast Lift is a procedure which removes excess, sagging skin by creating an incision around the areola, and the remaining skin is sutured together creating tighter, firmer, more perky breasts. If you are already happy with the size of your bust, a Breast Lift alone may be enough to give you the results you seek.
However, for some women, a breast lift alone may not create the outcome they want and a Breast Augmentation with a Breast Lift may be the right answer. These procedures can be done in conjunction with each other. Take a look at our Before and After Photo Gallery of patients who have received Breast Lifts with and with out implants. When you’re ready, contact us for your personal consultation.

Tallahassee Arm Lift
We are all born naturally predisposed as to where we will gain and hang on to weight. For some of us it’s our abdomen, love-handles, backside or thighs, and for some, it’s the arms. Unfortunately, it’s not always limited to just one area either! Some of us, no matter how many curls we accomplish at the gym will not be able to lose the amount of weight desired to get the definition desired. That said, people who have lost a significant amount of weight, either through diet and exercise or gastric bypass, are often left with sagging excess skin around their arms and other areas as well.
Brachioplasty, also known as an Arm Lift, is one solution available to treat these issues. To be considered an ideal candidate for this procedure, it’s preferred that you’ve been at a stable weight (not considered obese) for the past several months, do not smoke, are in good health and have realistic expectations about the procedure- realize that you aren’t likely to come out of the procedure with Jessica Biel’s biceps! What you can expect to get out of it, however, an improved, tighter version of your own.
