Case Details
She is a 67-year-old female referred for correction of her ptotic (droopy) eyelids.
She underwent excision of the excess skin, and shortening of the muscle that lifts her upper eyelid.
Notice that before her surgery the skin of the upper eyelid was not resting on her eyelashes and causing the lid to droop. It was the stretched-out muscle that caused lids to partially cover her pupils and obstruct her vision.
