Hair Replacement Tallahassee

Hair restoration is the advanced surgical technique which transfers hair from the permanent hair bearing scalp to areas that are bald.

At Southeastern Plastic Surgery we pride ourselves in offering both Micro-follicular Hair Transplantation and Follicular Unit Extraction resulting in a natural looking, permanent solution to hair loss. Utilizing both techniques allows our Board Certified Plastic Surgeons the flexibility to perform any size hair restoration or eyebrow restoration.

Micro-hair transplantation/ standard strip procedure allows up to 3,500 grafts, for over 5,000 hairs to be transplanted per session.

Most patients only need one or two sessions, depending on the extent of their hair loss. Follicular Unit Extraction is a hair transplant technique in which individual follicular units are extracted from a patient’s bald resistant donor areas. These small hair follicular unit grafts are then transplanted into a patient’s balding areas.

The procedure is done under local anesthesia with light sedation. Patients can relax, watch a movie or sleep. There is minimal down-time, and, often no time away from work is required.
